Matthew Whitaker is a jazz pianist from Hackensack, United States, born in 2001. Blind since birth, he starts playing piano at the age of three and is known for having perfect pitch. He performs as a jazz pianist and leads the Matthew Whitaker Quartet.

Career

Whitaker appears at major venues including Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center and Lincoln Center. At the age of 10, he performs as the opening act for Stevie Wonder’s induction into the Apollo Theater’s Hall of Fame. He is described as a prodigiously talented jazz pianist.
