Matt Abbott (b. 06.01.1989) is a solo artist from Wakefield, West Yorkshire, UK.
(There is also a trance artist of the same name from Beverley, East Yorkshire, UK).
His lyric-based songs blend alternative house music, big beat, electro-pop and Belearic beat as well as having a strong Madchester influence. The verses contain spoken word delivery in Abbott's distinctive Yorkshire accent and his lyrics present a fresh view on modern day life and youth culture in Britain.
The debut single 'I Love This City' is being released on 31st May on Mercury Records.
