Masturbation goes cloud is a band based in Athens, Greece. It is formed by Charalambos Theocharis on bass and George Kintonis on drums.

Style and sound

The group plays instrumental music that is minimal, repetitive and psychedelic. Its sound is described as fitting within math rock or kraut rock, and it also sits close to ambient, post-rock and psychedelic rock. The music uses simple motifs built from a 6-string bass, which looks like a baritone guitar but sounds like a bass, along with a loop pedal, drums and some synths.

The band draws on a range of influences, including Stereolab, Broadcast, Dianogah, Ganger, UI, Neu!, Spectrum, Spacemen 3 and Steve Reich.
