Masi Masi

Masi Masi is a bitpop solo project featuring Dan H. The project uses Famitracker to produce 8-bit music and sits within the chiptune and bitpop area, with tags that also place it alongside 8-bit, Nintendo and video game music.

The project’s influences include other chiptune and nintendocore acts such as Monomate, I Shot the Duck Hunt Dog and HORSE the band. It also draws on a wider range of heavier and progressive acts, including Coheed & Cambria, Periphery, Dance Gavin Dance, The Black Dahlia Murder, August Burns Red, Chiodos and Enter Shikari.

Masi Masi is associated with the EPs Ripper Roo EP and Confuse Ray EP. Confuse Ray EP is described as sharing the same songs as Ripper Roo EP while also adding one extra song, with vocals and live instruments on each track.
