Marlon Roudette is a British singer-songwriter from London, born in 1983. He is the son of the music producer Cameron McVey and the designer and artist Vonnie Roudette, who is from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and he is also the stepson of Neneh Cherry.
Early life
As a child, Roudette moves with his mother and sister to St Vincent. He begins his music career there before returning to London at 18.
Mattafix
Roudette is a member of the R&B and hip hop act Mattafix. The group’s single “Big City Life” becomes an international hit and reaches number one in Austria, Germany, Italy, New Zealand, Poland and Switzerland. After the band loses its record deal, it breaks up and Roudette goes on to perform as a solo artist.
