marlee

marlee is a lo-fi indie group. It is formed in 2001 by SACHI and MJ, with SACHI on main vocals and MJ on seven-string guitar. SEN joins the group in May 2006 and handles programming and side vocals. SEN is also in Cold+Sleep. A later member, REA, is also part of the group.

Releases and style

The group’s first EP, drainage, is released in May 2005. TAKEOMI, formerly of ZETA, produces the EP. drainage is noted for its striking artwork and radical sound, and it receives strong praise from Marty Friedman, formerly of Megadeth, and Nahoko Kakiage.
