Mark Mathews is a singer-songwriter from Kent, England, and is active in the United Kingdom. He writes pop-oriented songs that draw on the sound of artists such as The Beatles, Small Faces, Paul Weller and Oasis.
Career
Mathews is nominated for two Indy Music Awards and supports Frank Turner, The Draytones and Luke Toms. He is also described as one of the top three unsigned acts in the London Metro newspaper. He plays hundreds of gigs and festivals across the UK, India, Australia and New Zealand.
Releases
He releases three EPs. Buy The Ticket, Take The Ride is a five-track acoustic-driven collection that introduces him to listeners. A Flash In A Pan follows in 2008 as a three-track EP recorded with his then band, The One T's, and features a more raucous retro-rock style. Moments & Movements follows in 2012 with four tracks designed to work as a complete body of work, reflecting a further development in his songwriting.

His live set includes songs from the releases above, including tracks from A Flash In A Pan that become some of his most popular live material. His work moves from acoustic pop to retro rock, with an emphasis on catchy melodies and songcraft.
