Mark Kelly
Mark Kelly is a singer and songwriter based in Switzerland, originally from the United States. He is also described as a UK/CH performer and has been in Switzerland for more than a decade. He starts out as a bass player before taking up guitar and then writing and singing his own material.
Career
He performs under his own name after earlier work with The Passengers and Innacrisis. He is known for live performance and has opened for Duffy and Nneka. He is also asked to stand in for the German artist Ayo after a strong performance. He wins the Orange New Talent Tour Contest in 2009 and receives the Best Male Performance award at Balcony TV in the same year.
Recording and performances
He works on his first solo album with sessions in New York and Switzerland. He also plays many gigs around Europe and appears at major Swiss festivals including Montreux Jazz Festival and Paléo in Nyon.
