Marionette

Marionette is a Swedish metal band from Gothenburg, Sweden, active since 2006. The group forms around an approach that blends influences from the Japanese visual-kei scene with the intensity of Swedish metal, combining elements associated with melodic death metal, metalcore, death metal and metal.

The band gains recognition through placing highly, and often winning, a range of national and international music contests. Its sound is described as bringing together different genres and sub-genres within metal.
