Marie Vaunt is a Japanese American techno producer and DJ based in Los Angeles. Her work centres on hard techno, acid-driven production, dark rhythms and ethereal vocals. She appears regularly in Beatport’s Top 100 and has built an international audience through releases across several techno and electronic labels.

Releases and chart success

Her track That Acid reaches number one on the Beatport Top 100, and is her third chart-topping release after Dark Room on Drumcode and The Chosen on Kurai Records. She is one of the few artists to place three tracks at the same time in the Top 10 of Beatport’s techno charts, with Dark Room, ADSR and Reaction charting together in early 2024. In the same period, she becomes the best-selling female techno artist on Beatport and ranks fourth overall.

Vaunt releases music on Arcane, Drumcode, Revealed Recordings, EXTATIC, Monstercat and her own imprint, Kurai Records. Kurai Records also becomes one of the top three techno labels on Beatport.
