Marianne Beaulieu is a Montréal-based indie folk singer-songwriter. She starts sharing cover versions on social media in 2019 and quickly reaches a large international audience. Encouraged by that response, she releases a compilation of full covers in 2021 and then begins issuing original songs in 2022.

Releases

In 2024, she releases Here. She also releases The Committee, her debut EP of original songs, produced by Connor Seidel, who has worked with Matt Holubowski, Half Moon Run, Charlotte Cardin and Claudia Bouvette.

Style and influences

Her music is rooted in indie folk, and she cites Noah Kahan, Bon Iver and Gracie Abrams among her influences. Her work aims to offer comfort, and she presents herself as both a musical and visual storyteller, using multiple artistic forms to develop her voice.

Recognition

Beaulieu gains notice and support from artists including Noah Kahan, Tom Odell, Imagine Dragons and Dean Lewis. She represents a generation of artists who build recognition through social media and direct online discovery.
