Marc Riley, also known as “Lard”, is a Manchester musician and broadcaster associated with the post-punk scene. Born in 1961, he is a veteran of the Manchester music scene from the late 1970s and 1980s.

He is best known for his work as a DJ on BBC 6 Music and for his earlier broadcasts on BBC Radio 1, where he presents shows with Mark Radcliffe. As a musician, he plays guitar with The Fall and later fronts his own group, Marc Riley and the Creepers. He is also associated with The Shirehorses.
