Mantras

Mantras is a drone music project from Lower Saxony, Germany, active since 2021. It is also described in some contexts as a group working across doom metal, experimental, metal, psychedelic and stoner metal.

Associated uses of the name

The name Mantras is also used by several different acts. One is a stoner and psychedelic blues band from Poitiers, France, formed in 2014, with Pierre on guitars and vocals, Wortan on drums and Marco on bass. Another is an experimental hip hop trio from Wisconsin in the United States, combining folk and hip hop through progressive rapper Safari Al and the two-person band Ghost of James. A third is a short-lived rock-metal band from Armenia, Colombia.
