Manos

Manos is a crossover thrash, death, grind and punk group from Querfurt in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. The band forms in 1984 under the name Löwenherz, meaning “Lionheart”, and begins by playing cover versions. It takes the name Manos in 1987 and remains active from that point onward.

The group is associated with death metal, grindcore, punk and old school death metal, and it is known for combining crossover thrash with death and grind elements. Alongside its more serious material, it also releases lighter albums in different musical styles. Manos also develops a reputation for energetic live performances.
