Man without country is a Welsh music and multimedia project led by Ryan A. James. It begins in 2007 and is active as a group. The project starts as a duo with co-founder Tomas Greenhalf.

Man Without Country releases two studio albums through Cooperative Music. Those releases lead to touring across Europe and the US, with support slots alongside acts including M83, Alt-J and Warpaint.

James also collaborates with the Norwegian electronic duo Röyksopp. He provides vocals on “Sordid Affair”, a track from their album The Inevitable End, which later reaches number one in the iTunes electronic music chart. He also appears on the bonus track “In The End” on a later physical reissue of the album, as a vocal duet with Susanne Sundfør.
