Man Without A Clue is a Dutch house and deep house producer from a small town in the north west of Holland. He focuses on raw New York house influences and builds his sound from older house records while keeping it contemporary.

Career

He is known for studio work and for collaborating with Todd Terry, Kenny Dope and Roger Sanchez, three of the originators of house music. He is presented as the only new house artist to have worked with all three, and they each welcome him into the scene. Roger Sanchez describes his beats and basslines as tight and says he improves with each release.

Releases and labels

His releases appear on Defected, Dopewax, Skream’s Of Unsound Mind label and Suara. He also has work associated with Tough Love’s Get Twisted Records and Love & Other. He launches Clueless Music and releases the single “Morning” on that label.

Notable tracks and support

His track “When I Play This Record” appears on Defected’s sister label DFTD and is described as the biggest underground record of Ibiza 2014 by DMC. It receives support from house artists including Danny Howard, Hannah Wants, Low Steppa, Mark Knight, Tough Love, Stacey Pullen and Maya Jane Coles.

Other work

He spends time in New York with Kenny Dope, where they work on several new records for Dopewax. He also works on a remix of Soul Divide’s “Catch The Light” and on new projects with Mr V, Rae and Kevin Knapp.
