Malux is the drum and bass alias of London electronic music producer Alex Chambers. Under this name, he focuses on neurofunk and heavy drum and bass, while his other project, Skope, covers a wider range of tempos and styles.

Chambers first develops an interest in drum and bass, then later in dubstep, after hearing the scene in Reading, where he lives at the time. In 2016 he introduces Malux as an additional alias, returning to a more concentrated drum and bass direction after working across multiple styles as Skope.

In the first year of Malux’s existence, he releases tracks on Bad Taste, RAM, Trendkill and Inspected, all of which are established labels within the genre. His work as Malux is described as strictly drum and bass, with a strong emphasis on neurofunk and heavy bass-driven production.
