Malick Pathé Sow is a Senegalese musician living in Brussels. His work is associated with Senegal, west African music, world music and vocal performance.

He sings about historical figures and events, the protection of minority languages, coexistence in diversity, the environment and nature. These concerns connect both to Senegal and Mauritania, and to his current environment in Matonge, the Black district of Brussels.

One of his works, Op Maayo Men (“Our River”), is described as a meeting place for the Peulh of Senegal and Mauritania and as a symbol of peace and fertility.
