Making Monsters
Making Monsters are a Derry-based female-fronted four-piece group associated with alternative metal, hard rock, alternative rock and rock. The band begins 2014 with an extensive UK tour, appearing alongside Max Raptor, Fort Hope and Only Rivals, after a 2013 Irish tour with Young Guns.
Releases and recordings
Their debut single, “What It’s Worth”, gains attention online and attracts interest from American music blogger Bryan Stars. The band also releases a music video directed by Darren Lee for “Limits”, the second single from a forthcoming five-track EP. Their debut self-titled EP is available as a free download through their digital store.
Airplay and live support
Making Monsters receive airplay on BBC Radio One, Across the Line and Electric Mainline. They also play support slots for Sonic Boom Six, Yashin, Fighting with Wire, Future of the Left, ASIWYFA and Kerrang! Award winners In Case of Fire.
Online presence
The group maintain a presence on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and SoundCloud, and also offer merchandise through their online store.
