Majur is a Brazilian singer and composer from Salvador, born in 1996. Her music sits within R&B and MPB and deals with themes such as relationships and empowerment.

Raised in the outskirts of Salvador, she begins singing at the age of five in the choir of the Salvador Youth Symphony Orchestra. From Christmas performances with that group in Pelourinho, she moves on to military ceremonies with the choir of the Colégio da Polícia Militar, where she studies.

In 2016, Majur forms a band with five other musicians to perform in the nightlife of Salvador. At that time, she performs songs associated with Liniker, Tim Maia and Jorge Ben, and starts to establish her public image.

In 2021, she releases her debut studio album, Ojunifé, which brings together Afro-Brazilian rhythms and pop sonorities.
