Majesty

Majesty is a German heavy metal and power metal band, formed in 1997 and active since then. It is created by Tarek “MS” Maghary and Udo Keppner. The band plays in a traditional heavy metal style associated with acts such as Manowar, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Accept.

Sound and production

The group is known for a loud, aggressive approach to heavy metal. Its album Hellforces is produced by Stefan Kaufmann, who also works with U.D.O. and formerly with Accept. The band’s drumming on that record is noted for its similarity to the style used by U.D.O. in the late 1990s.

Over time, Majesty includes or has included Rolf Munkes, Marcus Bielenberg, Christian Münzner, Björn Daigger, Michael Gräter, Robin Hadamovsky, Martin Hehn, Chris Heun, Udo Keppner, Carsten Kettering, Tarek Maghary, Andreas Moll, Markus Pruszydlo, Jan Raddatz, Tristan Visser and Ingo Zadravc.
