Maim

Maim is a Swedish death metal group from Åtvidaberg in Östergötland, active since 2006. The band plays old-school death metal and draws influence from groups such as Autopsy, Repulsion, Nihilist, Darkthrone and Motörhead.

History

The group forms in 2006 and records an unreleased demo in late 2007. Some of that material appears online, while copies of the full demo circulate on tape. In 2008 the band signs to the Dutch label Soulseller Records.

The debut album, From The Womb To The Tomb, is released in 2009. The second album, Deceased To Exist, follows in 2011.

At the time listed, Maim consists of Krille on guitars, Otto on drums, and Rikard on bass and vocals.
