Maddog Mcrea is a professional touring band based in Devon and active since 1995. The group performs a blend of Celtic folk rock, using acoustic instrumentation with a high-energy approach. It builds a strong following in venues across the South West of England and tours widely beyond the UK.

Touring and reach

The band tours extensively in Ireland, the USA, Scandinavia, Germany, the Czech Republic, France, Switzerland and Thailand.

Recordings

Maddog Mcrea releases two independent albums, Drink Stink & Be Merry and Away with the Fairies. It later signs with Cough Records and releases Sophisticated Hat Manoeuvres.
