Mad Zach is a Berlin-based electronic artist born in San Francisco. He makes bass-focused music and works across styles including bassline, breakbeat, breaks, dance, drum and bass and drumstep, with tags also associated with halftime, downtempo, wonky, acid trap and dubstep.

He is known for making tracks, building custom MIDI controllers and taking part in a range of collaborative projects. In performance, he presents dense bass music with contrasting textures, layered overtones and organic low-end sounds.

His 2009 full-length release Wolf Spiders is a collaboration with R2 the Specialist and appears on Muti Music in San Francisco. He releases music on antispace and Mad Lab Audio.
