Macatier is the solo project of Dan Brown, a Manchester-born indie musician based in Bristol, UK. He starts performing and writing in Bristol in late 2011 and works in an upbeat acoustic style. Macatier independently releases three EPs and performs under a DIY approach, handling both recording and live work himself.

As a live act, Macatier supports Brand New, The Xcerts and Marika Hackman. He also performs frequently in venues across the south of England, with a reputation for energetic live shows.
