M FIELD is a blues musician from Issaquena County, United States, born in 1913 and active until his death in 1983. He is associated with blues, blues rock, Chicago blues, Delta blues, electric blues and psychedelic rock, and performs as a vocalist and songwriter.

Career

He is known for working with The Muddy Waters Band and Son Simms Four. His output sits within the blues tradition and its related electric and rock-inflected forms.
