M-22

M-22 is a producer-songwriter duo made up of Matt James and Frank Sanders. The act works in dance, deep house, electronic, house and tropical house, and is based around a collaborative studio process in which its songs are written from scratch.

Career

The duo begins releasing music in 2015 with debut single Some Time, which reaches number 6 in the UK Club Charts and becomes BBC Radio 1Xtra’s Record of the Week. Their follow-up single Good To Be Loved is named Pete Tong’s Essential New Tune, and they later sign to Sebastian Ingrosso’s Refune Music label. Another single, Inspiration, receives support from Danny Howard.

M-22 contributes Love You Loud to Robin Schulz’s album Sugar, and later works with Klingande on Somewhere New, which accumulates over 100 million combined streams. The duo also creates official remixes for Avicii, Adam Lambert, Anne-Marie, Ed Sheeran, Rita Ora, Clean Bandit, Sigma, Rudimental, Major Lazer and Marshmello.

Live work

The pair performs at Tomorrowland and at the Balearic clubs Hi and Ushuaia.
