Lyr

Lyr is a British ambient post-rock ensemble led by poet Simon Armitage. The project also includes musician Richard Walters and producer and multi-instrumentalist Patrick Pearson.

The group’s work combines elements of traditional African music, experimental rhythms, ambient textures and noise. Each track is also translated through programming into moving images, forming part of its audiovisual presentation.
