Lyla Foy

Lyla Foy is a UK indie pop singer-songwriter from London. She performs as a solo artist and also records under the name Wall. Her work sits in indie pop and dream pop, and she is also identified as an English songwriter.

Career

Under the name Wall, Foy releases the 7-inch single Magazine/Over My Head in 2012, followed by the Shoestring EP in 2013. She then signs to Sub Pop Records in 2013 and issues the double A-side 7-inch Easy/Head Down under her own name. Her debut album, Mirrors the Sky, follows on Sub Pop in 2014.

Collaborations and live work

Foy shares stages with The National, Sharon Van Etten, Midlake, Phosphorescent and Fleet Foxes. She also sings and plays bass in Mono Club, a psychedelic six-piece led by Goldheart Assembly’s John Herbert.
