Luke James Williams

Luke James Williams is a Cambridge-based singer-songwriter from the United Kingdom who works in folk and alt.folk. He releases acoustic, vocal-led songs and draws on alternative influences in his writing and performance style.

His debut EP, Drove, is his first recorded release. The lead single, Rabbit Hole, receives airplay on BBC Radio 6 Music, Amazing Radio and BBC Introducing, while other tracks from the EP also feature on Folk Radio UK and Hype Machine.

Williams is known for live performances and has supported Stu Larsen, Mark Chadwick of the Levellers, and the folk duo Megson. His writing is described through imagery and a distinctively British vocal delivery, with influences that include Sufjan Stevens and PJ Harvey.
