Lucy Bedroque

Lucy Bedroque is a Los Angeles-based singer and producer from California. They are a member of La Familia and are associated with cloud rap, digicore and hyperpop, with related tags including indietronica, art pop and trap. They also use the name lostrushi.

Background and style

Bedroque is known for a sound shaped by Nintendo DS textures and fairy-inspired ideas. Their visuals draw heavily on Japanese culture, particularly anime, and they also reference the Japanese visual kei rock band Malice Mizer, which they sample on the track "INFINITUDE // UROBOROS".

Career

In 2021, Bedroque forms the sigilkore collective #GREED with yuke, wifiskeleton and kaystrueno, and leaves later that year. Around the same period, they gain wider attention with the single "maple", featuring kaystrueno.

Their debut album, SISTERHOOD, appears in 2023. On it, they introduce the alter ego Glutmother, described as the sister-side of the project and linked to the sin of gluttony.

In 2024, Bedroque releases three EPs: Amy, Tether and Fête de la Vanille.

In 2025, they release the mixtape Unmusique, which includes "2010 Justin Bieber" and "G6 Anthem". A music video for "2010 Justin Bieber" also appears and draws further attention.

Bedroque is working on the album c and on Null by design, described as a self-produced album.
