Lucern Raze

Lucern Raze is a garage rock project based in Stockholm. It is the work of Luke, who previously fronts London’s Sex Beet, a band that gains attention for a run of very rough early singles and then spends several years touring across Europe and America with acts including Thee Oh Sees, Black Lips and Best Coast.

Background

After recording a debut album in Berlin with King Khan guitarist and singer Luke, Luke moves from London to Stockholm and later starts PNKSLM Recordings. In Stockholm, he works a range of jobs while developing Lucern Raze as a solo project, writing, recording and mixing an album over 12 days in the summer of 2014.

Releases

The first release from these sessions is the Sunshine Blues single. The debut album, Stockholm One, is issued by PNKSLM Recordings and Burger Records.

The project is associated with garage rock, rock, psychedelic rock and garage punk.
