Luca Lozano

Luca Lozano is a British-born DJ and producer based in Berlin. He works across acid house, afro house, breakbeat, breaks, dance and deep house, and his sound also spans house, techno and trip hop.

Klasse Recordings

He founds and runs Klasse Recordings, where he acts not only as DJ and producer but also as A&R executive and creative director. In that role, he brings new producers to the label and shapes its direction visually and musically. Artists associated with the label include Sacha Robotti, Kris Wadsworth, Jordan Peak, Johanna Knutsson, Minilogue and Huxley.

Style and role

Lozano’s productions are described as built around heavy basslines and a blend of dark emotional tones with house, techno and trip hop influences. His wider creative interests include outsider art and 1970s graffiti, which inform the label’s identity.
