Louisa

Louisa Johnson is a British singer from Essex, United Kingdom. She is best known for winning the twelfth UK series of The X Factor in 2015, becoming the programme’s youngest winner. Born in 1998, she is from Thurrock, Essex, and is raised there. Her parents are David Johnson and Lisa Hawkyard; her father works in construction.

Before her X Factor win, she auditions for Britain’s Got Talent in 2014 but does not progress, later attributing that to being too young and unprepared. She works in pop, soul and dance, and is known as a UK artist within the British pop and television talent-show context.
