Lost In Stereo

Lost In Stereo is an indie rock and electronic group from Sydney, Australia. The band is active from 2015 to 2018 and consists of Jakob Delgado, Ethan Karpathy and Chris Lanzon.

The group forms in spring 2008 and records its first EP with sound engineer Mike Davidson at WERS Studios, part of Emerson College, after winning a local contest. That release is a self-titled single with two tracks, “Kali” and “If It Hurts”.

In summer 2009, Lost In Stereo returns to the studio with audio engineer Pete deGraaf to begin work on its first full-length album, Black Tie Galaxie. The album is intended for release in early 2010, but bassist Jason Deffenbaugh leaves in December, and the band disbands in early January 2010, leaving the record unfinished.

On 11 April 2010, Ian, Shaun and Jason return to the studio with Pete deGraaf to continue work on Black Tie Galaxie. The album remains incomplete, though several studio mixes are posted later that year.
