Loose Talk Costs Lives

Loose Talk Costs Lives are a UK indie pop and indie rock group formed at the start of 2010 in Leeds, where James Rapson, Oliver Route, Liam Klimek and Greg Round meet while studying at the University of Leeds. Rapson plays guitars and sings, Route plays guitars, Klimek plays bass and Round plays drums.

The band draw on influences that include XTC, Four Brothers, Talking Heads, Owls and Steve Reich, and their music is described as drawing together a range of popular styles. They also have links to the math pop scene.

Loose Talk Costs Lives support acts including Wild Beasts, Two Door Cinema Club, Maps and Atlases and Good Shoes around the UK. Their first release is the double A-side single
