Lone Wolf is a dubstep artist and the alter ego of multi-instrumentalist Paul Marshall. His songs are described as dark in theme and often framed in a murder-ballad style. He is signed to Bella Union, and his debut album, The Devil And I, is released in 2010. The first single, Keep Your Eyes On The Road, is accompanied by a video that pays tribute to Peter Gabriel’s Sledgehammer; Gabriel sees and approves it, as does the Aardman team associated with the original. Marshall tours in the UK with Wild Beasts.

Other artists using the name

The same name is also used by several unrelated acts. One is a British band active in the early 1980s during the New Wave of British Heavy Metal era; they release two singles and include Brian Ross of Blitzkrieg in their line-up. Another is a hardcore band founded in September 2006 by Bo Thomson and Adam Riser, later joined by Nick Trujillo, Mark Choiniere and Martin Stewart; they record a debut EP called Hallucinogenic Fate at For The Record Studios with Garrett Carroll, with mixing by Nick Jett and mastering by Paul Minor. A further project is a psychedelic doom-folk experiment based in Brooklyn, with a first record available through Healing Light Industries. There is also a pop punk band from Rotterdam that releases two full-length albums, a split with the Parasites, and other material.
