London Calling

London Calling, also known as “L/C”, is a band formed in December 2002 in Evansville, Indiana. The group consists of Jamie Rowe on vocals and guitar, Jon Gilbert on guitar and piano, Matthew Martin on bass, and Derek D. Sorrells on drums.

Their sound is described as power pop, hard pop and explosive pop, with hook-heavy choruses. They are influenced by Fountains of Wayne, American Hi-Fi, Sugarcult, Lit, Cheap Trick and The Sweet.

After signing to Atenzia Records in 2004, they re-release their 2003 album New Sensation with five additional songs under the title You’re So Lucky.
