Lokier is the DJ and producer Yoan Rodriguez Lokier. She is from Mexico and is based in Berlin, and her work develops from an early mix of indie and post-punk influences toward darker, more industrial and electro-oriented techno.

Her first EPs and remixes appear in 2014 on labels including Les Disques De La Mort and Throne Of Blood. After moving to Berlin, she continues to shape a heavier sound, and her DJ sets follow the same direction, using raw textures and acid-tinged synths to make them more complex and abrasive.

She also works with French DJ and producer Morgan Hammer, a longtime friend known through Optimo Trax, in the project She Made Monster, which focuses on energetic DJ performances.
