LOGICA

LOGICA is the psytrance project of the Brazilian twin brothers Alok and Bhaskar. They grow up listening to psychedelic trance at home and begin learning mixing as children, with support from their parents Swarup and Ekanta, as well as DJ Pedrão and DJ Zumbi. By the age of 12, they decide to take DJing and performance seriously and continue as a live act together.

Early career

Their first major professional opportunity comes at the New Year period of 2004/2005, when they play the new-time set at Universo Paralello Festival. This marks 2005 as an important year in their career, as requests for performances increase. Later that year they begin producing their own music and make a track with Cosmosis on Holophonic Records in the UK.

Production and collaborations

From the second half of 2007, their production work becomes more central. They record tracks including “Good News”, “Space” and “Influences”, as well as a track with Burn in Noise. Under the name LOGICA, the brothers present a live set through Vagalume Records. Their first performance as LOGICA takes place on the stage of Universo Paralello 8, where they play a set built around driving rhythms and break-heavy passages.

Later activity

After a European tour, they continue performing and producing, including new collaborations with Dick Trevor and Avalon.
