Loft

Loft is a German eurodance group from Germany. Its name is an acronym for “Live Our Fathers’ Teaching.” The project is associated with eurodance, reggae and techno, and is produced by Michael Eisele and Dietmar Stehle under the name DMP.

Line-up and vocals

The group’s core line-up consists of Courtney Dean, St. Patrick Williams and Richard Wayne Williams, who is also known as Ranking Richie. A range of other vocalists contribute to Loft’s recordings, including Kim Sanders, Lori Glori, Gina Mohammed and Sandra Steinborn. The verified membership list also includes Thorsten Adler, Marc Kamradt, Nosie Katzmann, Tom Keil, Giora Schein, Frank Schlingloff, Courtney Williams and Richard Williams.

Releases and chart success

Loft achieves chart success in the 1990s with singles including “Hold On,” “Summer Summer,” “Love Is Magic,” “Mallorca” and “Wake the World.” The group releases two albums, Wake the World and Future World. In 2004, Loft returns with a remix of “Summer Summer,” and in 2005 it issues the singles “Still No 1” and “Love Can’t Be Wrong,” with new vocalist Sue.
