L.O.C.

L.O.C. is the stage name of Liam Nygaard O’Connor, a Danish rapper, songwriter and TV host from Aarhus, Denmark. He is associated with hip hop and Danish rap, and is also described as Danish-Irish. He grows up in Århus and is born in 1979.

Career

He starts out in the Danish hip-hop scene as a member of Alzheimer Klinikken with USO and Rescue. That group later becomes B.A.N.G.E.R.S., adding N.I.S. (NiggerenISlæden, Marc Johnson) to the line-up. L.O.C. debuts as a solo artist in 2001 with Dominologi.

His solo albums include Dominologi (2001), Inkarneret (2003), Cassiopeia (2005), Melankolia/XxxCouture (2008), Libertiner (2011), Prestige, Paranoia, Persona Vol. 1 (2012), Prestige, Paranoia, Persona Vol. 2 (2012) and Sakrilegium (2014). He also releases the mixtapes Nyt Fra Vestfronten (2007), Nyt Fra Vestfronten 2 (2008) and Nyt Fra Vestfronten 3 (2009).
