Loaded 44
Loaded 44 are a punk group from Sunderland in the north-east of England. Formed in 1996, the band centres on guitarist-songwriter Dave and includes Beki Straughan and Stephen Straughan. Beki is noted for playing with Steve Ignorant’s Last Supper on its European tour in 2010.
Sound and releases
Their music is described as punk rock with a sound compared to Blondie and the Ramones. Their album Wasted On You includes two tracks featuring Olga of The Toy Dolls on guitar and is issued on STP Records.
