Lizz

Lizz is the stage name of Chilean DJ, singer, rapper and producer Elisa Espinoza. Her work draws on trap, reggaetón and influences associated with internet culture, and she describes herself as a child of the internet. She combines different visual and musical styles in order to push against what she sees as a more conservative Chilean audience, and she has spoken about the way female DJs are often not taken seriously at first.

Her output sits within Chilean electronic and hip-hop contexts, with a strong neoperreo influence reflected in the mix of styles she uses. The project is presented as a way of contributing to a more open future through music and performance.
