Little Giants

Little Giants is a hip-hop group from the United Kingdom made up of producer Nick Alvarado and vocalist EVeryman. The duo builds its sound around crisp, funky beats and thought-provoking lyrics, with an approach that looks back to the golden era of hip-hop.

Background

Alvarado and EVeryman first work together on the track “Good Day”, which appears on the debut EP from Alvarado’s alias Pumpkin. They connect through a shared interest in classic hip-hop, including A Tribe Called Quest, the Beastie Boys and Jurassic 5, as well as a habit of digging through old records for samples.

Releases

The pair later put out the well-received EVery Summer Mixtape, a release that pairs reconstructed hip-hop beats from Alvarado with new vocals from EVeryman. Under the Little Giants name, EVery Summer Mixtape also serves as the duo’s debut album, made up of original tracks and centred on catchy choruses and sample-based production.
