Little Big
Little Big is a Russian rave band formed in 2013 in St Petersburg. It is based in Sankt-Peterburg and Los Angeles and remains active. The group is associated with dance, dance-pop, electropop, pop and rave, and releases music on LB Rec.
The line-up includes Anna Kast, Olympia Ivleva, Sergei Makаров, Ilya Prusikin, Anton Lissov and Sofia Tayurskaya. The band is also described as a rave and punk-pop act. Its core members have included Ilya “Ilich” Prusikin and Sonya Tayurskaya.
Little Big's first full-length album, With Russia from Love, appears in 2014. The group has also issued three more studio albums, a live album, and a large number of EPs and singles. It gains wider attention with the video for Skibidi, which appears in 2018 and leads to the Skibidi Challenge, a viral dance imitation trend.
The group is selected to represent Russia in the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam with the song UNO, but the contest is cancelled. In March 2020, the official Eurovision YouTube channel posts a video of the cancelled entry, which becomes its most-watched video. In 2022, Little Big relocates to the United States in protest at the Russian government's invasion of Ukraine and parts ways with Sergei Gokk and Anton Lissov.
