Career

Shaw sings and records in New York City and has done so for a number of years. Her music appears on releases from Naked Music, Ubiquity, Yoshi Toshi, RCA, East West, Grand Central UK, Sirkus UK, Astralwerks and NRK. She first contributes to the Naked Music catalogue on “You are Love” by Lovetronic, then later signs as a solo artist in 2001.

Her debut solo single for Naked Music is “Always”, which becomes an underground favourite. She also works with Naked-associated artists and producers including Blue Six, Central Living, Petalpusher and Aquanote.

Shaw collaborates with producers and musicians including Jay Denes, Eric Stamile, Dave Warrin, Scott Hardkiss, Smash Hunter, Swingsett, Itaal Shur, Lucy Woodward and Mark Anthony Jones. She is remixed by Jimpster, Herbert, Joey Negro, Swag & Crazy Penis and Phil Asher.

She performs live with Miguel Migs in Europe, Asia, Australia and the United States, and also appears live with Nerve at the Prohibited Beatz party. Nerve is led by drummer and producer Jojo Mayer and also includes Takuya Nakamura, Tim Lefebvre and DJ Swingsett.

Shaw also appears live on The David Letterman Show as a backing vocalist for Jewel.
