Lisa McHugh is an Irish pop and country singer from Glasgow, United Kingdom. Born in 1988, she has Irish family roots: her father is from Castlederg in County Tyrone and her mother is from Falcarragh in County Donegal.

Career

In June 2010, McHugh moves to Ireland, forms her band and begins touring. She works in pop country and Irish music, and is associated with Sharpe Music.

Recognition and media

McHugh wins Female Vocalist of the Year five times. In 2012, she receives Outstanding Achievement on the World Stage after appearing at the Grand Ole Opry. She also presents her own television show, On the Road with Lisa.
