Liquid Graveyard

Liquid Graveyard is a death metal group active from 2006 to the present. It forms around John Walker, Raquel Walker and Adrian de Buitléar, and its line-up also includes Al Jimenez on bass and Gustavo Segura on drums. The group is associated with progressive death metal and avant-garde metal.

Formation and early releases

Liquid Graveyard forms in late 2006. About a year later, it records its first and only demo, Criministers. In June 2009, it releases its debut full-length, On Evil Days, on the Italian label My Kingdom Music. The album receives positive reviews and helps establish the group’s profile.

Later albums and collaborators

Roughly a year after the debut album, the group signs to Rising Records. In March 2011, it releases its second full-length, The Fifth Time I Died, which also receives favourable notices. For its third album, By Nature So Perverse, released in 2016 on Sleaszy Rider Records, the group recruits Shane Embury of Napalm Death, Lock Up and Brujeria, and Nick Barker of Lock Up, Dimmu Borgir and Cradle Of Filth.
