Link is a name used by several different acts, including electronic, punk and crust projects.

Mark Pritchard alias

One use of the name is as a pseudonym for the electronic music artist Mark Pritchard. Under this name he records tracks including “Amenity” and “Arcadian”. Pritchard also records as Reload, Harmonic 313, Troubleman, N.Y. Connection, William Parrott and Roberto Edwardo Turner, and works in collaborations including Global Communication, Jedi Knights, The Chameleon, Link & E621, Reload & E621 and Secret Ingredients with Tom Middleton; Harmonic 33 and Use of Weapons with Dave Brinkworth; Series 7 with Stephen Horne; Shaft with Adrian Hughes; Vertigo with Danny Breaks; 28 East Boyz with Kevin Hann; Chaos & Julia Set with Dom Fripp; Mystic Institute with Paul Kent; and Pulusha with Kirsty Hawkshaw.

Crust band from the United States

Another Link is a female-fronted crust band from the United States, based in Missouri. The band forms in 1998 and records two demo tapes soon after starting. It later issues another demo, The Last Sacrifice, tours Germany and Holland in 2001, splits after that tour, then starts again in 2003. In 2006 it releases a demo with nine new tracks, and in 2010 the album Chapter I appears on Alerta Antifascista.

Other acts using the name

The name also refers to an R&B singer from Dallas known for songs such as “Whatcha Gon Do” and “I Really Wanna Sex Your Body”, and as a writer of hit songs for LSG and Silk. It is also used by a trio playing rootsy, Clash-inspired street punk with dual vocals and songs in Japanese and English, by a Hungarian rock band that plays classic Hungarian songs, by a female-fronted punk band from the Netherlands, and by a project started in 2020 by dubstep producer LAXX drawing on 1990s trance and hard house.
